About us
About the house
We have converted an incredibly beautiful but long-abandoned stone mansion into a comfortable residence for our guests and friends. Our goal was to preserve its genuine façade, made of the region’s unique stone, while also providing all of the amenities for its visitors. It took us about three years to open the doors of this cozy home for all of you, and throughout that period, the words from Georgi Bardarov’s enchanting story remained with us and became our constant guide:
“Houses are really like people: they fade away in quiet solitude if there is no one to warm them with their presence.”
We look forward to seeing you!
About the village
At the Bar Starata Furna , guests of the house and the village can enjoy billiards, listen to good music, enjoy delicious food and drink cold beer, and cool down in the garden pool during the summer. Next to Casa Lavandula is Home – Domashno , which makes organic food (bread, wine, flour, sunflower oil, marmalade, syrups, and more). The community also organizes an annual Lavender Festival, a huge rock festival called Midalidare Rock In The Wine Valley in one of its surrounding villages, and is home to many young families.
